
A check-list to determine your if you should decline a meeting:
- Does it have a clear purpose, sufficient information for the conversation and a defined outcome with clear next steps? Ask for an Agenda
- Does it have the right people and has the right pre-work been done?
- Who is the ‘chair’ – are they effective in achieving an outcome in the minimum time required?
If you insist on these requirements before agreeing to attend it will save time for both you and colleagues
